Please check the “How To Take Measurements” section above to see our guide on how to take measurements for your sofa, chair, chaise lounge, or ottoman cushions.
Outdoor cushions should be filled with a material that is made to weather the elements. One of the most popular options is Dri-Fast®, a polyurethane foam designed for outdoor use.
Cushion filler material comes in a variety of densities, from soft to very firm. Our team will work with you to determine the best filler option for your situation and preferences.
For outdoor cushions, choose a cover material specifically designed to withstand exposure to the elements and resist fading, mold, and mildew.
Sunbrella® is an excellent choice. The company offers hundreds of different fabric designs, and their products are durable and long-lasting. We also work with other top-quality brands, including Perennials®, Schumacher, Thibaut, and Maria Flora.
Our team works hard to deliver your custom cushions as quickly as possible—without sacrificing quality. Your cushions and pillows are handcrafted in our expansive 30,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Dallas, which has one of the largest production capacities in North Texas.
Turnaround times for smaller residential projects are approximately 6-8 weeks depending on the fabric availability. For example, recovering a set of 4-6 chairs for a backyard dining table might take 4 weeks. Larger commercial projects (for a hotel or restaurant, for example) may take anywhere from 12-16 weeks.
We also specialize in high-volume contract cutting and sewing for a range of textile-related products. Call us to inquire about project timelines.
Outdoor fabrics are almost always specially treated to resist water, UV rays, mold, and mildew. This doesn’t make the fabrics indestructible, but there are things you can do to extend the life of your new cushions.
In the warmer months, consider installing a sunshade over a seating area to protect your cushions from UV rays and fading. Store your cushions when not in use to protect them from the damaging effects of the sun.
Also store your cushions in the winter when not in use to protect them from wind, rain, snow, and ice. If your cushions get wet, shake them out as soon as possible and let them dry completely.
Cleaning outdoor cushions is easy. First, remove any surface debris. Next, wash with mild soap and water and allow the cushions to dry completely.
